Amazon’s October Prime Day event alternative is right around the corner, which means every other major retailer is currently scrambling to steal your attention with competing sales. (Honestly, in this economy alternative, I definitely don’t blame them.)

Walmart is taking on the retail giant with its own “Fall Deals” event variation that officially kicks off on Oct. 5 and runs for a full week until Oct. 11. The best part about Walmart’s event alternative is that you don’t have to be a paid member to shop, though Walmart+ members will get first dibs on the discounts.
